Besides Blogging, What are you Passionate about?

Art and the making of artwork was a passion of mine, and had been since my early teens. I have had an agent(s) and galleried showings when I was younger and more practiced.
Teaching others about using the various artists' tools has been very rewarding for me lately; I don't have the keen edge of my passion any longer. Somewhere along the line, my heart was broken and my lifelong love affair with art slowly withered away. I packed up my studio and warehoused the items.
Sometime during the healing period this last year, after having my retina reattached, I started doodling with paint again. And my passion for art is ever so slowly rekindling itself. Once again I am inundated with ideas, angst and hope; so, here is one of the worst of my oils from the past and pictures of two of the three works in progress I have going on behind closed studio doors.
This is an unflattering study in oil of a friend, Rick, circa 1992, it's so bad, that it is just wrong. I hope he can't hunt me down through this site.
This is a study in acrylics, and has had two settings, when the mood muse beckons, I'll have another go at it and continue to develop the theme (whatever that turns out to be); this is a subject from one of the art classes I taught this year.
Another study in acrylics, this has had several major settings because I got so energized that I went buzerko and then had to go back and settle things down. The wave explosion got me.
My question to everyone is this: What are you passionate about beyond the constraints of blogging? Something so personal that it is like baring your soul's very essence (or naked self) when shared with others.

Besides blogging I'm mostly burried in books, university exams and all that. I'm working on a computer game that I hope could be used to help kids learn to read.
Thats about it in my simple life

Aside from blogging, I am passionate about writing. I still keep a real journal which I write in every once in awhile.
I'm also passionate about reading.

Seriously - writing, but outside of the 'constraints of blogging', literature... storiesof any kind I guess, including those told through art. It's fantastic that you have rediscovered your passion!
Nice post, Raven.

Words aren't adequate to describe the emotions.
