Islam, the Antichrist, the Mark of the Beast and the One World Government

According to the remaining bastion of truth, those patriotic pundits of phun at the Sun (May 21, 2007) have declared that the, ‘Next President Is the Antichrist’. That should prove interesting: now Hilary, Barack, John, Al or those other presidential hopefuls have an equal opportunity in 2008 to end up as both the bane and boon of our nation (and the world), once installed in office. Wait, that opportunity has always been theirs for the taking. The title antichrist is a stretch for these presidential hopefuls, even those we dislike.

Maybe some cursory review of prophecy, according to the organized mainstream religious views of the family line of Abraham, is in order.

As a professed Christian Jew spiritualist and former Sufi Druid warrior, I thoughtfully and deliberately gave up chasing after organized religion, opting instead to seek a relational experience with the creator. Instead of allowing the conventional or other religious institutions to relentlessly hammer at me with their well choreographed and mind numbing dogma. I opted out, taking time to void the residual flotsam and provide myself with additional opportunity to study, and then to re-examine and reformulate my opinions about the many religious and spiritual topics that have me puzzling. Why is there some much confusion and cross proselytizing? Why do those ‘Witnessing’ to the word, the way, the way out keep coming back to my abode in spite of vigorous protest; I am really tired of exorcising those demons from my porch stoop[.

Note to proselytizing zealots; give it a rest, you’re drawing blood from the eyes of those whose hearts and minds you are trying to capture. If potential proselytes can’t see what you’re spouting, as obvious and beneficial in your life, there is no sense trying to over whelm them with rhetoric or fear. If you don’t win the heart and mind of a convert; all you have is a prisoner of convenience or indentured zombie. Let’s face it, God doesn’t specifically require nor need your help, he’s functioned for millennia without it.

Recently, I experienced a soul jarring epiphany while reading the aforementioned Sun or one of its sister magazines. True, it could have been gas, but for the sake of this blog it was an epiphany. Really, it could have been the quiet voice of God speaking through that particular magazine at that specific point in time, which brings up the following. Why would God talk to me when I am on the toilet? Maybe I need to take more time to meditate, listen and commune with the source of all things. That way, there wouldn’t be any real need for the creator to reveal himself at that particular time; an incident that would have proven to be very messy.

Confusion regarding the, “the Antichrist, the Mark of the Beast and the One World Government”, is rampant. This confusion has not escaped the attention of priests, pastors and the assorted prophets of pulp fiction. All who have used this ignorance to pummel our collective spiritual sensibility for several decades now, has started me start bleeding from several of my sensory and non sensory orifices. I understand broad biblical concepts; honestly I get it. Having studied under the tutelage of various well meaning scholars, it became painfully clear to me that many, if not most were suffering some form of spiritual myopia.

To purge myself of any potential guilt for not disbursing what I have ascertained, let me share with you (in broad strokes) what I think I know. For reasons I don’t fully understand, I did the Google thing and went to a web site seeking additional information. The following URL link, Really Long Link proved interesting. So, that will give you a contemporary perspective concerning the antichrist; however, I want to exercise my right to make a fool of myself. Along with being foolish, the right to free speech (as stated in our non sharia based Constitution in America), is another right I plan to abuse fully.

Can anyone produce a definitive identifier of the antichrist, anywhere? The references to the antichrist don’t necessarily point to any single person, and may indicate a group just as well. Most references are allegorical, metaphorical, and deliberately vague in keeping with Gnostic teaching styles of the time. Arrogantly enough, here we are, two thousand years later trying second guess what the authors were sharing in the limited information they handed down to us.

For me it’s simple, three major religion branched from Abraham. All were apparently influenced by the biblical Jesus of Nazareth, which is borne out in their literature. The Christian lines believe him to be the Christ and therefore God incarnate, where the Jews see him as a teacher and the Muslims consider him more of a prophet.

Christ is the approachable spirit of God, the persona of love, peace and justice through law. Converts to Christianity and to Judaism are won over by example, their heart and minds are swayed by loving dialogue and the exercise of free will and choice. Converts are encouraged to learn about their faith, the faith based laws of governance, about relational issues with God and to question what isn’t clear. They are instructed to live and love morally, to make contributions for the good of society, to value all members of their community, to judge all equally and to welcome the stranger.

Contemporary Muslim teachers and leaders have demonstrated a diametrically opposing view point to that of Jesus, who they acknowledge as a prophet. Yet, collectively they appear to be the antithesis of everything he taught. The archetypical example set down in Mosaic Law, is largely ignored in Sharia Law. Where Jesus frequently challenged the leadership and teaching of his faith and encouraged his followers to do the same; Muslim’s leader harshly punishes anyone that questions Islam, or its founding prophet. Frankly, while studying Islam, I am unable to get past Mohammed’s prophesies of convenience. I see contemporary Islam as the antichrist collective; and will continue to believe that until the day arrives when they commence the process of reinventing their faith.

In light of the Muslim propensity to sway converts with the sword, and their other tools of terror; guns, knives, bombs, torture and the murder of innocents to name a few. I would say that being a conscripted convert of these devices and techniques, would qualify that individual of bearing the “mark of the beast”. The proselytizing techniques of Muslims is brutal and unconscionable, beast like in the way their converts are forced display the trapping of Islam, their identifiers. Dress codes, beards, head scarves, ritualized worship are just a few of these marks of the beast.

I have studied scripture, prophesy and stay abreast with current events in the news. I know the litany of things that many consider to be the mark of the beast; barcodes, implanted chips, smart credit cards, social security card, drives licenses to name a few candidates.

Another interesting thing about Islam is the goal of Muslims everywhere, to convert everyone to Islam. Wouldn’t that bring about a one world church and a one world government ruled by some future Ayatollah? Isn’t that a prime description of antichrist? I am not really worried about the next US President elect being the antichrist; I hope we elect another moralistic idiot like Bush to protect and preserve us all. Do some studying and decide for yourselves.
