Osama Bin Laden - Misguided Savior

Trying to get into the mindset of Bin Laden has been difficult for me and just about everyone else that I have chatted and fussed with about this Middle Eastern nut case. Is he simply a crackpot, delusional or absolutely in dire need of prescribed medications and some sexual relief. He's been hanging out with the camels and that all male crowd for years now, it could be taking a toll on his mind and the camels.
One of the noteworthy pictographs that comes to mind is his iconic posturing. I have been struck at his recent attempts to appear Christ like, and alternately, he takes on the air of a pious and patiently suffering prophet. He doesn't seem to personally handle the weapons of death and destruction in public anymore, he’s assuming the air of the maligned prophet while he issues edicts that call(s) the faithful to return to god, and trying to transfer the guilt of his blood stained hands to the actions of others.
Why is the singular word that kept going through my mind, why, why, ..why? Then in an epiphanal moment it occurred to me. Osama is supposedly a devout and probably knowledgeable Muslim; but remember this, he is not the spokesperson for Islam. He is however the poster child of radical elements within Islam. And as a devout Muslim, he may genuinely be concerned about his relationship with the creator and what he perceives is a mass exodus into the bowels of hell by those who aren’t privy to or are resistant to the message of his religious insights-mimicking and trying to recreate events in the life of Mohammad, Islams founder.
In short, I believe that he has a messiah complex; he wants to save us all from going to hell, and to do so, he’ll kill us to save us from that fate. That’s some twisted thinking but, where he used to appear with weapons now he’s adopted this iconic posturing and has taken to delivering pseudo prophetic messages.
Is it possible? He loves us all so much that he wants to spare us the ravages of hell by murdering off all non-believing infidels which equates to: US and the collective them.
Sure, why not?

It gets messy, some have their own interests at heart and use their religous beliefs to justify their actions. However Bin Laden isn't such a person because he has already given up a lot of wordly possessions to achieve his religous and political goals. He genuinely believes what he's doing is right and is not actually justifying his actions with belief but following belief.
As a man I think he is humble in nature. He's sacrificed a lot for what he believes will be his own salvation. This probably would explain the way he talks and behaves during his video broadcasts. He's simply not out to get you, only out to save you. Sure he may be killing people but he's doing it with the best of intentions which makes him so god damn dangerous.
